New Year - An Elegy

The eve is last, but love never be least
Lethal time ahead, we have to depart forever
Ere we were for each other, solely feast
Gay moments we enjoyed together come never.

Such eves will come with the passing of time
May you will enjoy together after forlorning me
Verily i never mind.for our blest had resign
Clannish tradition imposed on us , to mourn and see.

You are not false to me but you have to depart
As pearl remains indifferent begetting from mother pearl
It is usual practice lovers have to remain apart
Every epoch witnessed their heartache and mental whirl.

Amid gloom I wish you very thriving conjugal New Year
May God shower with new life, ecstasy, love to my dear!
